Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: June 5, 2026

1. Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs how you may use MythmakeRPG (the “Service”), including the AI game master, oracle tables, and any content you generate or store. By using the Service you agree to this AUP. We may update it; material changes will be posted here with a new date. Breaking this AUP is a breach of our Terms and may lead to suspension or termination.

2. Prohibited content

The Service generates fictional narrative at your direction, but you must not use it to create, request, store, or distribute:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexual content involving minors, including fictional, AI-generated, or “aged-up” depictions. This is never permitted and may be reported to authorities.
  • Content that sexualizes real people without consent, or non-consensual intimate imagery of any real person.
  • Content that promotes, incites, or provides instructions for terrorism, violent extremism, mass violence, or serious harm to others.
  • Real-world instructions for creating weapons, explosives, or other items designed to cause serious harm, or for serious illegal activity such as the manufacture of illegal drugs.
  • Content that harasses, threatens, defames, or doxxes a real, identifiable person.
  • Content that promotes self-harm, suicide, or eating disorders as desirable, or that provides methods to do so.
  • Material that infringes intellectual property or misappropriates another’s confidential information.

Mature themes within fiction (violence, conflict, morally complex characters) are part of tabletop roleplaying and are generally fine. The lines above concern real-world harm, exploitation of minors and real people, and unlawful content — not the existence of dark themes in a story.

3. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

  • Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
  • Attempt to bypass, disable, or game the Service’s safety systems, content filters, metering, or credit limits, including through prompt injection or jailbreak techniques.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract the Service’s software, prompts, or underlying datasets beyond what the Service openly provides (e.g. your own campaign exports).
  • Resell, sublicense, or share your account or credits, or provide access to others on a commercial basis, without our written permission.
  • Use automated means (bots, scripts) to access the Service or generate volume beyond normal individual play, except via any API we expressly provide.
  • Interfere with, overload, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or our systems.
  • Misuse the payment or refund process, including initiating chargebacks on credits you have purchased and consumed, or a pattern of bad-faith refund requests (see our Refund Policy).
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation.

4. Your responsibility for content

You are responsible for the prompts you submit and the content you generate. AI output is produced at your direction and may be unexpected; using the Service to deliberately steer it toward prohibited content is a breach of this AUP. Do not submit other people’s personal or sensitive information as part of gameplay.

5. Reporting

If you encounter content or behavior that violates this AUP, report it to report@mythmakerpg.com. We review reports but do not promise a specific outcome or timeframe.

6. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and take action we consider appropriate, including removing content, issuing warnings, limiting features, and suspending or terminating accounts. For serious violations — such as CSAM, credible threats of violence, or fraud — we may act immediately and without notice, preserve relevant records, and report to law enforcement or other authorities. Enforcement of the Polar Acceptable Use Policy for the purchase relationship is handled by Polar.
