Terms of Service

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Mythmaker (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Mythmaker is a solo-play tabletop roleplaying application with AI-assisted game mastering. The Service generates fictional narrative content at your direction. You are responsible for how you use the content you create.

3. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

4. Credits and payment

The Service is offered on a prepaid-credit basis. Credits are consumed as you play. Purchased credits are not transferable and have no cash value except as described in our Refund Policy. Prices and pack sizes may change; changes do not affect credits already purchased.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to break the law, infringe others’ rights, attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the Service, or generate content that violates applicable law. We may suspend accounts that do.

6. Content and ownership

You retain rights to the campaign text you create, subject to the rights of underlying data providers. Oracle datasets are used under the CC BY 4.0 license (see our attribution). The Service software and branding remain ours.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. AI-generated content may be inaccurate or unexpected. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim.

9. Changes and termination

We may modify the Service or these Terms; material changes will be posted here. You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms.
