Credits

MythmakeRPG bills by usage, not subscription: a credit balance in dollars that play draws down. No monthly fee, nothing to cancel — see Pricing for the full philosophy.

What spends credits

Anything that asks the AI to generate:

• Turns — assistant replies, GM narration, autonomous play.
• Session 0 suggestions — the ✨ Suggest button.

Costs scale with how much the AI reads and writes in a turn — typically a fraction of a cent each. Plain oracle rolls (🎲 🔤 ⚡) are dice, not AI — they’re free, as is rereading, browsing, and exporting your story.

Your balance

• New accounts start with free credits — no card required.
• Your current balance shows on Home under ⚙ Settings → ☉ Account.

Running out

When the balance is spent, a ⚠ notice appears:

You’re out of credits — your story is safe, but new turns are paused.

Nothing is lost — every word of your journal stays readable and exportable. New AI turns simply wait until you top up.

During early access, top-ups are by request — reach out and we’ll add more. Self-serve purchasing is coming with the payment milestone.
